The event was well organized and very enjoyable to participate in. I especially liked the fake snow at the start/finish area and the location around the lake was lovely. Would definitely come back.

A great 5km to do in the run up to Christmas - very family friendly and well organised.

My 11 yr old son was entered in the 5k with me. He’s a quick runner and after a few minutes was bored at my pace so went on ahead and told me he’d see me at the finish. He’s a park runner and used to events. Somehow he seems to have done two loops around White Swan Lake and not the 5k route. I don’t know how it happened, whether he was misdirected by a Marshall perhaps, but thought it would be useful feedback. Not raising it as a safety concern at all, just the fact that he wanted a 5k run and didn’t get one!
