My 11 yo son would recommend !
There were some very unsupportive competitive parents who insulted my child who was doing really well in her first ever triathlon, which she did to raise money for the guide dogs for the blind.
Ace event, really well organised, the announcer was brilliant and kept everyone informed and supported all the athletes, everyone was so nice and a great spirit to the whole event.
Maybe a bit more space for the trainers after the swim!

A fantastic junior introduction to triathlon
Brilliantly organised with a wonderful supportive atmosphere. Careful, patient briefings for kids (and parents, who are able to witness almost the whole race thanks to the very efficient use of venue space). I hugely recommend this particular Barnes Fitness event as an entry point into kids triathlon - especially given there's also an ultra-gentle 'Have a tri' category for all ages as an alternative for those who want to dip their toes in with an absolute minimum of competitiveness.

Great event!
Would be better to space the swimmers out further in the pool. Need more tape/markers on the course. Also the time changed from 3pm to 2.15pm without making it clear to participants (although that may be because we were late entry).
